Buddhist Chanting Practice Class
First Thursday of Every Month

Chanting is a wonderful element to add to your personal Buddhist practice! Join us once a month as we share chants from a variety of languages and Buddhist traditions. Each
session will include alternating periods of chanting and silent meditation. Whether
you’re a chanting pro, looking to improve your chanting confidence, or just exploring, anyone is welcome to join us as we come together to share the power of our voice. No prior experience necessary!
Mats and cushions provided. Feel free to bring your own!

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
We meet the 2nd Saturday of each month.
9:00am - 11:30am.
Join us as we help serve meals at St. Paul's Church, located at 1300 North 18th Street in Kansas City, Kansas. It's a great opportunity to serve as well as get to know other practitioners.
The serving and cleanup will take until 11:30am.

Volunteer at St. Paul's Food Pantry, Saturday, March 25, 2017, 9:00am - 12:30pm. Volunteers needed to help in the food pantry on the 4th Saturday of each month. The only pre-requisites for our volunteers are a heart for helping our Neighbors and a willingness to have fun doing it. The pantry is located at Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1300 North 18th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66102. Go to the back of the church, the pantry is across from the red door downstairs in the basement.

We will be utilizing a collection of text curated specifically for the curriculum structure of Temple Buddhist Center. The notebook will be available for $5 and maybe paid in advance or at the door.
